Reflection on Performance
My Performance was not that good. This is because I messed up my chords. I didn't do the right chords at the right times (sometimes). But I think my singing was ok. I projected it well. I just wish that the chords fit into my song. But it didn't, so thats another reason why I failed a bit. Hahaha! But altogether I did pretty well.

Lyrics to my blues song (12bar Blues)
I can't Think of a song to sing
I said I can't Think of a song to sing
Everyone else has something
I think I should just give up
I said I think I should just give up
I have nothin else to do
Now I only have one more idea
I said I have only one more idea
I hope it works

THE BLUES
During class we discussed the meaning of blues. We learned that the blues originated from southeast US and it started about 100 years ago in the time of the slaves. It is a country type of music. African American men usually sang these songs. It is a very sad and emotional song. It was sung like a story. The instruments used in this type of music are guitar, harmonica, voice, and drums. These are portable instruments. These are only some info on blues.

But all together i did pretty good!
